1.By Air
The easiest and most popular way to enter Bhutan is by flying.
Airport: Paro International Airport is Bhutan’s only international airport.

- Gelephu: Southern border, closer to Assam, India.
Important Note: There are no land crossings between Bhutan and China.
3.Visa Requirements
- For International Tourists:
- A visa is required and must be arranged in advance through a Bhutanese tour operator or their international partners.Bhutan Visa Fee is US$ 40 per person.
- You must pre-book a tour package, which includes the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of $100 per day per person plus Daily Land Cost Per Person Per Night covering accommodation, meals, transportation, and a guide.
- For Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian Nationals:
- Visitors from these countries do not require a visa but need valid travel documents like a passport or voter ID.
